Proudly serving the area since 1952.

It is the mission of the Prairietown Fire Department to protect the lives and property of the residents in the Prairie Fire Protection District from natural or manmade hazards and medical emergencies through supression, fire prevention education, and firefighter training.

We are a rural community in the metro St Louis area, and rely solely on our volunteers to staff and maintain all equipment and respond at a moments notice when they are needed.
